Will insurance cover my visit?
I have chosen not to participate or contract with any HMO’s, PPO’s, or any other insurance panels therefore I am considered an out-of-network provider. There will be no intrusion into your medical care and privacy by any insurance company. If you choose to submit claims for insurance reimbursement, I will provide you with the appropriate documentation. I do not submit claims on your behalf.
What is Simple Practice?
Simple Practice is the electronic health record I use in my practice. A patient portal needs to be created prior to our first meeting. You can use the Luminello patient portal to make payments by credit card and for secure communication with me as well as to create statements for your insurance company. Please make sure that a valid credit card is on file at all times in Simple Practice.
How will I pay for the visits?
You will be required to enter a credit card information in the Simple Practice patient portal, which is the electronic medical records I work with. Your card will be charged at the end of each visit.
How do I make an appointment and what happens if I cancel an appointment?
Please contact me directly to schedule an appointment. Scheduled appointments have to be cancelled with 48 hours notice prior to the session in order to avoid the full cost of the session. For example, an appointment scheduled on Monday needs to be cancelled by 8 am on Friday the previous week.
